Appearance: Tall, dark, and rugged, with a square jaw and chiseled features. Long shaggy hair, an eyepatch over the right eye. Clad all in leather with thick gloves, a big strapping belt, and an even bigger sword.
Personality: Deceptively quiet - no one knows if he's one of those wise sorts, or just fakes it. Rarely says what he's really thinking unless it's life-or-death. Strong, not stupid, wary, and cautious. Not a hothead who rushes into battle, but not a coward who runs from it either. Will randomly make quips of a wry, clever nature, showing that he does have a sense of humor hidden behind the aloof, distant mask. Very loyal to his friends, will defend the ones he cares about with his life.
Weapons: one-handed sword "Wild Geese," level 12.
Skills/Special Abilities: fighter/captain
Other Abilities: he knits. Few people know he does, though, and he's not an expert.
Runes: True Lightning rune, Thunder rune
Weaknesses: a tendency not to trust people he meets until they prove their worth, not very personable - not much fun at parties. A moody drunk. Keeps secrets too well. He does not like children...at all.
Who am I?: More than fifty years ago, this wandering mercenary fell in with the Flame Champion and became one of the original Fire Bringer, taking onto himself the True Lightning rune. He and Wyatt, bearer of True Water, stood at the right hand of True Fire and together, united the Grasslands into an army to resist the invasion of Harmonia. Upon the cease-fire and the end of the war, with True Fire set aside and True Water sealed, Geddoe wandered the continent keeping his True Lightning hidden, eventually deciding to use his war-talents for the Southern Frontier Defense Force of Harmonia. He rose to lead his own company, the 12th unit, though he never told any of his loyal men (and woman) his history or complete identity. His position allowed Geddoe to be on the front lines of information-gathering when Harmonia began to move into the Grasslands at the end of the 50-year truce, and he seemed to know before anyone else what was really going on. He chose to take up his rune again, revealing himself to his unit and then to the new Flame Champion, and willingly fought to protect the Grasslands once again, since it also meant protecting himself and his rune. Once Luc and his plot to destroy the true runes was foiled, Geddoe quietly went back to the defense force and his lifestyle as a mercenary, free to go wherever he pleased and fight to keep order if and when he was needed.
Five years after the war, however, with the members of his unit scattered and jobs scarce, Geddoe decided to drop by Budehuc to see the old place and spend the winter quietly. His life has been completely turned upside down by the strange people and occurrences at the castle. He has chosen to make Budehuc a permanent home...along with his life-bonded partner, the pirate Sigurd. He resigned from the SFDF and is now working as a freelance mercenary.
